This is an interesting example of a French Army uniform badge. Made of a heavy white metal. Has a voided design with wings coming out of a stylized wheel or gear. Was chrome or silver plated, but much of the plating has worn off. Has a hallmark "coinderoux - Paris. I have been told that this badge may be Foreign Legion related. Don't know much about it though???
